Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled RF Design Engineer to design, install, and test RF systems for SATCOM across multiple bands. Travel up to 15% worldwide will be required as part of project deployment.

You will produce system drawings in AutoCAD/Visio, perform link-budget analyses, and work with test equipment like PNA-X and Fieldfox to verify performance. A TS/SCI clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
• Ability to carry equipment, climb antennas, and rack hardware.
• Knowledge of RF design, installation, and test, with a focus on SATCOM systems.
• Travel up to 25% worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and test RF systems, including SATCOM components and devices.
• Conduct site surveys, climb antennas, and rack hardware.
• Utilize RF test equipment to test and measure RF performance (BER, S-parameters, NF, etc).
• Create system drawings and documentation using AutoCAD or Visio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet user requirements and schedules.
