Job summary

RTX is seeking an RF Design Engineer II in McKinney, TX to contribute to radar and datalink hardware for missile programs. You will assist with RF circuit card assemblies, test plans, and lab characterization while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Master’s in EE, RF design coursework, and an active DoD security clearance. Onsite work with potential for special program access after start date.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required before start date.
• Experience or coursework in RF design and related electromagnetics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and documentation for RF or mixed-signal CCAs and circuit designs.
• Lab work for component characterization, CCA verification and integration.
• Perform RF CCA/module checkout per the test plan and verify against requirements.
• Ensure compliance with technical performance standards and program requirements.
