Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled RF Design Engineer in Alpharetta, GA for a 6-month duration, up to 30 months. The role requires contributing to the RF design of the regional cellular network and experience in designing CRAN networks.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in RF design, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with industry standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts and a demonstrated desire to learn and advance.
• Knowledge of industry-standard RF prediction and propagation tools.

Responsibilities

• Define search areas and collaborate with the performance team to identify sector issues.
• Coordinate with System Performance to reduce lost calls within the sector.
• Create cell-site translations and perform drive testing as needed.
• Prepare FCC/FAA submissions and perform radio engineering evaluations.
• Identify location-specific needs for new cells based on performance and capacity.
• Evaluate coverage problems and requirements for new coverage cells.
