Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an RF/Microwave engineer to design and test MMIC/module products and to support phased array applications in a production environment. The role emphasizes RF design, simulations, and integration across system and component levels.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with RF calculations, cascaded analysis, and electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS, Genesys, and Cadence Virtuoso). A STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
  • Develop insights that extend your knowledge in the RF/Microwave field and form the basis of new concepts, theories, and products
  • Design and/or test MMIC or module products and test fixtures at RF/microwave frequencies
  • Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware
  • Provide technical support to production activities
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience in Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Genesys and Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition Cadence Virtuso, and analytical tools such as Matlab
  • Experience performing basic RF calculations and Cascaded Analysis
