Job summary

Skyworks is seeking an Engineering intern to join the RF Design team, contributing to RF/microwave front-end ICs and modules in the 2-8 GHz range. You will gain hands-on experience in RF design, simulation, characterization, and performance optimization within a collaborative engineering environment.

The role targets students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with coursework in microwave engineering and circuit design.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Completion of coursework in microwave engineering and electronic circuit design is required.
• Exposure to IC design, semiconductor devices, and semiconductor physics is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF circuit, EM, and thermal simulations to support RF modules and ICs.
• Assist with lab characterization, debugging, and performance optimization of RF ICs and modules.
• Analyze measurement data and simulation results to evaluate circuit performance and identify improvements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports summarizing test results, simulations and recommendations.
• Present analyses, updates, and findings to the engineering team.
