Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an engineer to perform concept and performance trade studies, link budget analyses, and develop data link models and signal processing algorithms in high-fidelity simulations.

You will test, verify, and validate requirements in laboratory or field environments, support design reviews, and present briefings to internal leadership and external customers. This onsite role offers relocation assistance and competitive RTX benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of programming or simulation experience in MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, or equivalent.
• Two years of exposure to communication theory, DSP, probability, stochastic signal processing, RF theory.

Responsibilities

• Perform concept and performance trade studies, link budget analyses and demonstrate data link capabilities.
• Conduct hardware and software communication architecture trade studies.
• Develop, prototype, and test data link models and signal processing algorithms in high-fidelity simulations and support hardware implementation.
• Test, verify, and validate communication and signal processing requirements and performance in lab or field environments.
• Provide engineering support through project design reviews, peer reviews, and briefings to leadership and customers.
