Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled RF Antenna Testing specialist in Mountain View, CA. You will perform RF system testing for design verification and validation, including conducted and radiated tests to assess interference, noise floor, and coexistence of multiple radios.

You will collect data and generate detailed reports using Python scripts. The role offers growth in a hardware R&D lab with calibration responsibilities and hands-on testing across R&S, Agilent, and Anritsu equipment,

Qualifications

• Experience performing RF system testing for design verification and validation.
• Familiarity with conducted and radiated tests, interference and noise floor measurements.
• Ability to analyze test data using spreadsheets and Python scripts.
• Experience with lab hardware calibration and test equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated RF Antenna Testing to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Role/Responsibilities

RF Testing Services:

• A. Perform RF System Testing on devices for design verification and system validation, including controlled (conducted and radiated) test environment tests for 1) RF performance, 2) interference, 3) noise floor (RSSI), 4) coexistence (multiple-radios), 5) throughput, etc.
• B. Perform Radiated/Conducted TRP/TIS/aGPS Testing, in signaling or non-signaling mode, using test chambers, including but not limited to, R&S Anechoic chamber; BlueTest Chamber; GTS chamber, etc. Use call boxes including, but not limited to, R&S, Agilent, Anritsu, etc. Use internally developed tools to run on-device testing.
• C. Collect data from test systems and transfer data to spreadsheets or databases. Analyze and prepare test results using spreadsheets and Python scripts to generate reports.
• D. Setup RF test equipment to perform validation, verification, and debugging tasks. Maintain the test equipment and handle lab equipment calibration. Maintain lab space, tools, and the materials of a hardware R&D lab.
• E. Perform hardware rework and mockup for RF tests.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $59,000/Annum

Pay Range Maximum: $99,000/Annum
