Job summary

NOV in Odessa, TX seeks a hands-on Warehouse Technician to operate forklifts and cranes, perform counts, and ensure safe, efficient material handling. You will communicate professionally with internal and external customers and adhere to HSE and quality requirements.

You may be on call and must handle a 7am–6pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with possible changes. The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiar with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willing to learn company systems TAT and EDS.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all HSE and Quality requirements.
  • Complete all relevant company web-based training.
  • 5S and housekeeping tasks as required by procedures.
  • Perform counts on all tools annually for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with vendors or in-house machinist for rework of components.
  • Update components in TAT.
  • Upload documents to OnBase, TAT or EDS as required.
  • Follow SSP’s and procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Communicate with shift supervisors about component needs daily.
  • Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment.
  • Participate in action plans for new projects as defined by supervisor.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by manager.
