Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking a Shift Manager for Venetian Rewards to oversee a 20–25 member team handling sign-ups, promotions, and redemptions. You will lead interviews, train new hires, and ensure adherence to policies, while coordinating with HR and management on performance and service standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in a busy casino with a player’s club background, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and Alcohol Awareness Card.
• 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume casino with player’s club experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 20–25 team members at a given time.
• Conduct panel interviews and make recommendations for hire.
• Train, monitor, oversee, and direct the work of new hires; track probation progress.
• Handle team member complaints and routine discipline.
• Work with HR on investigations and changes in status for senior management review.
• Oversee daily Venetian Rewards operations on casino floor.
• Assign and reassign team members and manage staffing levels based on business needs.
• Evaluate Secret Shoppers reports and provide timely feedback to team members.
• Monitor compliance with departmental procedures, NGCB controls, and AML policies.
• Conduct weekly/monthly meetings to review progress and quotas.
