Job summary

Baxter & Woodman is hiring a Revit Technician I to support the design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across multiple locations in Wisconsin and Illinois. The role focuses on modeling in Revit, producing production drawings, and coordinating with engineers and PMs.

The ideal candidate brings 0–2 years of Revit experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. The position offers on-site work at Waterford or other local offices with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or BIM/VDC certificate or related experience.
• Entry level to 2 years modeling in Revit.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare production drawings using Revit to model structures and piping.
• Create and modify plans, sections, schematics and details.
• Use Civil 3D to prepare site plans and linework.
• Coordinate with project managers and design engineers.
• Maintain REVIT templates for multi-discipline design work.

What your day to day will look like

Support the design of water & wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment plants pipelines and pumping stations Assist in preparing production drawings utilizing Revit to model structures buildings building systems and process piping Create and modify plans & sections schematics and various other details from direction by the design engineer Utilize Civil 3D to assist in preparing site plans including linework surfaces and pipepressure networks Coordinate with project managers design engineers and other project support departments Maintain REVIT templates for multi discipline structural HVAC plumbing process and electrical design work

Education Requirement

Associates degree in architecture civil or structural engineering technology; BIMVDC Certificate Program; or related workeducation experience

Must haves what you will bring

Entry level to 2 years work experience modeling in Revit Detail oriented and the ability to demonstrate efficient problem solving techniques Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Possess an eagerness to learn new skills and be a proactive team member

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience or knowledge of Forma Experience in Enscape or other rendering software Experience in architecture engineering or construction and knowledge of building systems HVAC Plumbing Electrical Practical experience in the Microsoft Office suite of applications; specifically Teams Outlook and One Drive Experience in Bluebeam Revu

Compensation

The pay range for this role is 2700 3400 per hour Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience and certifications
