Nycom is looking for a talented Revit Modeler I to join our team working remotely from home or in one of our offices in Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, or Virginia.

This is an ideal entry-level position for a recent graduate of a Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology program. If you are motivated to succeed, detail-oriented, and looking for a challenging career, then we want to talk to you.

Description

The Revit Modeler is responsible for modeling and drafting construction submittals for a variety of product lines including Millwork/Casework, Specialties equipment, and Lab equipment. They will work with a variety of internal teams to create detailed and accurate shop drawings from architectural drawings.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
  1. Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes.
  2. Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to our company standards.
  3. Manage information, maintaining notes, documentation, and ensuring your questions are answered when needed utilizing our proprietary software.
  4. Manage schedules and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  5. Independently solve problems in close coordination with members of the project team.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of Revit as a drawing management tool.
  2. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  3. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Proficient in MS Office programs.
  6. Experience in Millwork/Casework/Specialties is a plus.
  7. Degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology or related field is a plus.
