Job Summary

The primary responsibilities include preparing shop tickets for precast structures using CAD software, supporting the design team on various projects, and preparing erection drawings under supervision.

• Read and interpret erection details and drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Lead on shop card priorities and review drawings.
• Create shop cards using CAD software such as AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with detailing standards.
• Provide accurate representations of concrete pieces for carpentry, steel shops, and production.
• Generate Bills of Materials from shop card callouts.
• Plot and review shop cards and erection drawings for accuracy.
• Present and verify shop cards with Project Lead.
• Detail steel cards from sketches or markups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required, with at least three months of related experience or training, and at least one course in CAD (e.g., AutoCAD).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of AutoCAD software, especially in precast structures or construction, and proficiency in drafting and geometry.
