Job summary

Acelab is looking for a Revit/BIM Engineer to take ownership of their Revit plugin and enhance the BIM data layer. This role involves developing new features, improving interoperability with broader BIM ecosystems, and integrating AI into the product.

Applicants should have strong experience in software engineering, particularly with Revit add-ins, and a passion for the AEC industry. The position offers real ownership and competitive compensation, alongside a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong track record building Revit add-ins in C# using the Revit API.
• Experience with 3D web visualization, ideally three.js.
• Familiarity with IFC and IFC.js, or a strong appetite to go deep on it.
• Clear product sense and a bias toward shipping.

Responsibilities

• Own the Acelab Revit plugin end-to-end: architecture, roadmap, releases, and quality.
• Build new BIM features: dynamic parameter automation, deeper material/object mapping.
• Develop 3D visualization and rendering experiences inside Material Hub.
• Improve IFC and Revit interoperability.
• Help define long-term BIM strategy for Acelab.
