Job description

SMART DESIGN is seeking a detail-oriented entry-level Revit/AutoCAD designer to become a part of our energetic and collaborative team. This person will participate in all aspects of Revit/AutoCAD modeling, management, and production for SMART DESIGN.

The successful candidate will have these attributes:

5. Ability to work as an active and collaborative team member.

Responsibilities:

1. Exporting plans and model views from Revit to support development of presentations.
2. Modeling sign families; documenting signage locations and messages for construction documents.
3. Assembling milestone submittals and tracking changes.
4. Assisting in construction administration tasks.

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design is preferred, but others are welcome to apply.
2. Proficiency in Revit (including Xref and linking files, setting up drawing sheets, creating/editing Revit families).
3. Familiarity with AutoCAD.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
5. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and FileMaker Pro is a plus!
6. Full-time position of 40 hours a week is required.
7. Ability to commute weekly to our San Francisco based office.
8. 2-3 references upon request.
