Job summary

SIXGEN is seeking a Reverse Engineer in Sterling, VA, with TS clearance. The role involves reverse engineering across Linux, Windows, and embedded OS, using IDA Pro or Ghidra, and developing C/C++ and Python code. Clearance Requirement: TS

Location: Sterling, VA-5 days in office

Intermediate Minimum Experience: 3+ years-$150-$165K

Senior Minimum Experience: 6+ years-$175-$190K

Principal Minimum Experience: 10+ years-$205-$225K

This position may allow hybrid work; however, this is dependent on the project, therefore candidates may be required to be in the office full time. This role requires you to be a U.S. citizen with a current Top Secret clearance. Location: Sterling, Va.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineering compiled code with IDA Pro or Ghidra from a variety of computing platforms
• Identifying vulnerabilities through reverse engineering
• Developing C/C++ code in the kernel and userland on Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems
• Developing Python code for server applications and processing of binary data streams
• Reverse engineering embedded system hardware including black box analysis, firmware extraction, and debugging using GDB, JTAG, and other equivalent tools
• Implementing automation for testing our tools, fuzzing, and using AI/ML for reverse engineering Technologies: C, Python, C++, Git, Embedded Operating Systems, Hardware/Software Reverse Engineering, Ghidra/IDA.
