Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Reverse Engineer to perform technical analysis and identify indicators of compromise in support of customer operations. Primary location is Annapolis Junction, MD, with multiple secondary locations.

Qualified candidates have malware reverse engineering experience, capability to analyze malicious binaries, and the ability to document findings to enable detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in malware reverse engineering and static/dynamic analysis of assembly code to identify indicators of compromise.
• Ability to document findings to enable malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
• Must have degree in CS/CE/IS or related discipline and relevant security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis or malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, to ascertain functionality and indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation enabling malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
• Demonstrate experience in Malware Reverse Engineering.

Secondary Locations: San Antonio, TX, Augusta, GA, Oahu, HI and Various Locations

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Skills and Experience You'll Bring:

• Perform technical analysis or malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
• Experience must be in Malware Reverse Engineering

Degree and Certification Requirement:

• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• At least one of the following certifications is required: CISSP, GIAC GREM or CREA Cert

Education and Experience:

Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years. Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range: $160,000-$215,000
