Job summary

DigiFlight, Inc. is seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to perform deep malware analysis and reverse engineering to support critical national security missions.

You will analyze malicious binaries, document indicators of compromise, and help with attribution to adversary infrastructure while contributing to detection and mitigation strategies. The role requires an active TS/SCI with FSP Poly, a CS/engineering degree, and 5+ years of relevant experience; advanced degrees adjust

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with FSP Poly required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IS or related discipline with five years of relevant experience; advanced degrees reduce experience need.
• Experience in malware reverse engineering.
• One of CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of malicious binaries via controlled execution or static analysis of assembly to determine functionality and indicators of compromise.
• Provide documentation to enable malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Role description:

• Perform a technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, ascertain functionality, capability, and call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.

Required Skills:

• Active TS/SCI with FSP Poly required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of relevant experience. Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Malware reverse engineering.
• One of the following certs CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Certification.
