Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a motivated and mission‑driven Reverse Engineer 3 to support critical government initiatives in San Antonio, Texas.

What You’ll Do

• Support mission‑critical programs in secure government environments
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality results
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance

What You Bring

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, in order to ascertain functionality, capability, call‑backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
• Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• A bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• A master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• A doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (CISSP/GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM/CREA), eCRE, MCSI Certified Reverse Engineer (MRE), Information Assurance Certification, etc.)
• Experience supporting the Department of Defense (DOD)
• Agile, cloud, or modernization experience

Compensation & Benefits

The projected salary range for this position is $170,100-$189,000, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
