Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Revenue Technology team. You will build features for a sales rep-facing application using .NET, Vue.js, SQL and PostgreSQL, delivering high value to our Direct to Home sales force.

You will collaborate with Product, UX and QA, participate in code reviews, leverage AI-powered tools, and contribute to an Agile environment to continuously improve the onboarding experience and overall code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, and Vue.js.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for the sales app using .NET, Vue.js, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and QA to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Work in an Agile development process to deliver incremental value.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
