Job summary

Hunt Military Communities in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Revenue Specialist to support revenue management initiatives through reporting, analytics, dashboards, and process improvements. A Brief Overview

The Revenue Specialist contributes to the organization's success by supporting Revenue Management initiatives through reporting, analytics, business intelligence, revenue monitoring, and process improvement activities. This role partners with Operations, Recovery, Finance, and Leadership teams to provide data-driven insights that support revenue growth, revenue capture, cash flow protection, and operational consistency across the portfolio. The Revenue Specialist is responsible for preparing and maintaining revenue reporting, monitoring renewal and collection performance, identifying revenue risks and opportunities, supporting dashboard administration and automation initiatives, and assisting with revenue optimization efforts.

What You Will Do

• Prepares, validates, and distributes recurring Revenue Management reports, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting packages; ensures reporting accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across systems.


• Analyzes operational, financial, renewal, occupancy, delinquency, and collections data; identifies trends, risks, and opportunities; and provides insights and recommendations to support Revenue Management decision-making.


• Supports execution of portfolio renewal strategies by maintaining renewal tracking tools, monitoring pricing performance and conversion rates, analyzing retention trends, and assisting with market research and competitive rent analyses.


• Produces recurring accounts receivable, delinquency, collections, recovery, and related performance reporting for operational and executive leadership.


• Monitors collection and recovery performance and provides analytical support for initiatives designed to improve cash flow and reduce delinquency.


• Monitors lease compliance, month-to-month lease activity, fee performance, and lease expiration reporting to identify revenue opportunities and leakage risks.


• Performs audits and quality assurance reviews of revenue-related activities and reporting processes; identifies discrepancies and recommends corrective actions for management review.


• Tracks revenue capture metrics and supports initiatives designed to improve fee collection, lease compliance, renewal performance, and revenue realization.


• Develops, maintains, and enhances dashboards, scorecards, Tableau reports, and business intelligence tools.


• Supports standardization of revenue management processes, reporting procedures, monitoring controls, and operating guidelines.


• Assists with automation initiatives, workflow improvements, AI-enabled reporting solutions, dashboard enhancements, and testing activities.


• Supports preparation of executive presentations, business reviews, strategic planning materials, and special projects related to revenue optimization initiatives.


• Partners with Operations, Finance, Recovery, and Leadership teams to support revenue management objectives and enterprise performance goals.


• Leads or participates in additional projects and initiatives as assigned.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in revenue management, business analytics, finance, operations, property management, or related analytical business functions required.


• 1-3 years experience analyzing operational, financial, occupancy, renewal, collections, or performance data to identify trends and support business decision-making required.


• 1-3 years experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, or business intelligence solutions required.


• 1-3 years experience with accounts receivable, collections, delinquency management, rent recovery, financial reporting, or revenue performance analysis preferred.


• 1-3 years experience in multifamily housing, military housing, property management, real estate operations, or residential housing preferred.


• 1-3 years experience supporting process improvement, automation initiatives, workflow optimization, or technology-driven business solutions preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, data validation, reporting automation, and analysis of large datasets.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.


• Working knowledge of revenue management principles, including market rent positioning, pricing strategies, lease expirations, renewals, occupancy trends, revenue capture, and revenue optimization.


• Understanding of accounts receivable, collections, delinquency management, recovery practices, bad debt tracking, and their impact on revenue realization and cash flow performance.


• Knowledge of multifamily housing, military housing, property management operations, leasing processes, and resident lifecycle performance metrics.


• Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, Yardi, Pay Ready, or similar reporting, visualization, and property management systems.


• Ability to develop, maintain, and validate dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting packages, and recurring operational and financial reports.


• Demonstrated ability to identify revenue leakage, operational variances, compliance exceptions, and process inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve performance.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, data integrity, quality assurance, and reporting consistency.


• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and communicate findings clearly to operational leaders and executive audiences.


• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.


• Ability to partner effectively with Operations, Finance, Recovery, and Leadership teams to support revenue management initiatives and business objectives.


• Demonstrated ability to support process improvement, workflow optimization, automation initiatives, and technology-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.


• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to influence decisions through factual analysis and professional recommendations.


• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability, exercising sound judgment, and contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
