Circuit of The Americas LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Revenue/Membership Accountant to manage full-cycle accounts receivable, billing, and cash reconciliation for COTA's member programs and events.

The role collaborates with internal teams and external partners, processes payments, reconciles daily sales across multiple POS systems, and supports annual closes and audits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high-volume AR/AP, billing or bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send billing invoices and payment reminders.
• Process and post payments (checks, cards, EFT).
• Reconcile daily sales and cash receipts across POS systems.
• Record revenue from POS systems into NetSuite ERP.
• Perform month-end close for revenue, AR, and collections.
• Support intercompany billings and collections.
• Assist in year-end closing and audit processes.

The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Opening in 2026, COTA's amusement park, COTALAND, is on over 30-acres featuring two first of their kind Roller Coasters and 30 rides.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue/Membership Accountant to join our team to support T11 Car Condos, The Circuit Club and COTALAND. This role requires extensive full-cycle accounts receivable experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal departments and external parties. The Revenue/Membership Accountant will be responsible for generating member, external customer and some intercompany billings as well as conducting collections follow-up. The position will also reconcile daily sales and cash receipts.

Requirements

Requirements & Essential Functions:

• Maintain membership databases, process periodic due and statements.
• Generate and send billing invoices and payment reminders.
• Ensure member and customer databases are updated with accurate contact information.
• Process and post payments received including checks, credit card, and electronic funds transfers.
• Reconcile daily sales and cash receipts across multiple point of sale systems.
• Record revenue from multiple POS systems into NetSuite ERP.
• Perform customer account reconciliations; research and resolve payment or billing discrepancies.
• Perform month-end closing activities related to revenue, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned.
• Ensure intercompany and related party charges are billed and collected.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives, including automation where possible.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support audit requirements and financial reporting.
• Assist in year-end closing activities including the financial audit.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a high-volume accounts receivable/payable, billing or bookkeeping.
• Extensive knowledge of accounts receivable process and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience may suffice.
