Job summary

Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking a Revenue Integrity professional to analyze coding-related denials and optimize revenue capture across inpatient and outpatient services using Epic systems. The role supports service lines with detailed analytics and collaborative efforts with payer relations and hospital billing teams.

The candidate brings five+ years in coding/revenue integrity, CCS/CPC/COC credentials, and strong proficiency in Epic, SlicerDicer, and Reporting Workbench.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field; equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum five years of coding and abstracting experience in an acute care hospital setting; including facility and professional coding.
• Minimum one year of Revenue Integrity experience (denial management, charge capture, auditing).

Responsibilities

• Analyze coding-related denials and revenue flow interruptions to identify payer patterns.
• Maintain denial work queues and perform remediation and escalation tracking.
• Provide revenue-related reporting (SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench) to service lines.
• Serve as SME on facility payment models (DRG, APC, EAPG) and Epic charge flow for inpatient and outpatient.
• Collaborate with coding educators and service line leaders to bridge clinical and revenue cycle processes.
