Job summary

Penn Highlands Healthcare in Nebraska is seeking a Revenue Integrity Coordinator to support revenue integrity initiatives and day-to-day activities across the system. Under guidance of leadership and auditors, you will provide documentation, tracking, and basic reporting support for chargemaster maintenance, denial management, and payer audits.

The role emphasizes organization, follow-ups, and routing items to owners within Revenue Integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance or related field strongly preferred.
• 2–4 years of healthcare billing/revenue cycle experience (hospital/physician billing, denials, posting, charge entry, registration, authorizations or coding support) required.
• Basic understanding of hospital billing concepts and willingness to learn payer requirements and compliance standards (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurers).

Responsibilities

• Support revenue integrity initiatives and day-to-day activities across the System.
• Provide documentation, tracking, and basic reporting support for chargemaster maintenance and denial management.
• Assist with payer audits and appeals; route items to the appropriate owner under Revenue Integrity.
