SEARHC is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to improve charge capture, reimbursement, and accuracy of the revenue cycle through support and management of related applications. The role requires collaboration with clinical and operational teams to design integrated solutions and analyze data to drive improvements, including denials resolution and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 4 years of work experience may be exchanged for a bachelor's degree.
• AAHAM, AAPC, AHIMA, PTCB or other certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimization and troubleshooting of revenue cycle applications.
• Collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders for integrated design solutions.
• Analysis of data to support Revenue Cycle team initiatives for system and user deviations and process improvements.
• Serve as internal resource on registration, authorizations, coding, CDM, claims, and reporting/analytics.
• Workflow analysis and payer contract analysis to ensure payments align with contracts.
• Identify root causes of issues driving denials and coordinate with leadership to address gaps.
• Perform quality assurance and validation tasks.
• Educate departments/providers to ensure appropriate charge capture.
