Job summary

Hendricks Regional Health seeks a Revenue Integrity Auditor to identify billing and coding discrepancies and promote sustainable financial integrity. The role conducts comprehensive audits across the revenue cycle, develops findings, and collaborates with Revenue Cycle, HIM, Coding, CDI, Compliance, Privacy, and Information Security teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Nursing, or Health Information Management.
• 5+ years of revenue cycle experience within integrated healthcare system.
• Licensed RN with CCS certification preferred or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HIPAA privacy and security requirements and handling of PHI.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine, retrospective, and risk-based audits of the revenue cycle.
• Identify revenue leakage, miss charges, improper write-offs, and variances.
• Develop audit plans, sampling methodologies, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with HIM, Coding, CDI, Compliance, Privacy, and IT teams.
• Provide corrective actions and monitor remediation efforts.
