Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Revenue Integrity Analyst in Pittsfield, MA to identify, analyze, and resolve reimbursement variances and ensure accurate payment according to payer contracts and regulations.

The role focuses on using reimbursement analytics tools to compare expected versus actual payments, supporting appeals and recovery, and monitoring payer contract compliance. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursement is important.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in healthcare reimbursement or related analyst role.
• Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient hospital reimbursement, payer contracts, payment methodologies.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Experience with contract management/reimbursement analytics systems preferred.
• Experience with Expanse and/or Meditech software preferred.
• BA degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve reimbursement variances to ensure accurate payments.
• Compare expected payments to actual payments using reimbursement analytics tools.
• Support appeals and recovery efforts with payors.
• Monitor payer contract compliance and reimbursement methodologies.
• Evaluate reimbursement trends and determine root causes of variances.
• Assist with contract modeling, system validation, and process improvements.
