Job summary

Condé Nast, a global media company, seeks a Finance Analyst in New York to support US Revenue Finance. You will partner with functional leads, analyze monthly close submissions, and develop financial models to forecast risks and opportunities. You will also lead data architecture projects and automate reporting using SQL and Google Apps Script.

You will collaborate with the finance leadership team, manage time-sensitive inquiries, and help drive performance insights across brands and markets.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years post qualified or QBE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Commercial mindset with ability to tell the story of business performance.
• Great team player, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in G Suite, Microsoft Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Google Apps Script.
• Able to adapt to change and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director to provide ongoing business partnering support to functional leads (advertising, commerce, subs, etc).
• Review and analyze journal submissions for the US Market monthly close.
• Develop, maintain, and own Financial Models to forecast future risks and opportunities.
• Lead data architecture using Power Query to join multiple data sources into a cohesive database.
• Assist in automating reporting using Google Apps Script and SQL for efficiency.
• Develop relationships with the business partnering team to meet reporting needs.
• Support time-sensitive questions from the Finance Leadership team and ad-hoc requests.
