Florida Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a clerical professional to support our revenue cycle. The role will also cross train to cover other department staff during illness or vacations, providing essential coverage to keep billing and patient accounts moving smoothly.

This position requires at least two years in a medical office, knowledge of medical terminology and billing, strong communication, and proficient Excel skills.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years medical office experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, abbreviations, techniques and surgical procedures
• Professional reputation with high energy, integrity, and positive spirit
• Ability to organize and effectively work on multiple projects at one time
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel is highly desirable

Responsabilidades

• Work insurance denials (requests for information)
• Verify Insurance for surgical ER Face sheets and 30th Street billing
• Update insurance including auto
• Work returned patient statements
• Reverse and repost SNF charges
• Scan refund and payment batches
• Any assigned Special Project
