Under general supervision, following established practices, policies, and guidelines, you will support outpatient billing and collections. Responsibilities include reviewing and submitting claims to third-party payors, performing account follow-up activities, updating account information, etc. This position requires expert knowledge and proficiency in revenue cycle functions, regulatory requirements, payor contracts, and CSHS policies. You will research, analyze, and resolve complex cases with minimal assistance, serve as a technical resource, and may act in the absence of the lead or supervisor. Cross-training in other revenue cycle functions may be required.
