Total Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support insurance verification, eligibility management, and patient registration. The role involves working with EHR and payer portals, ensuring accurate patient data, and aiding in timely revenue collection.

You will collaborate with Patient Access, Billing, and Finance teams, handle follow-up on denials, and assist in improving financial outcomes while upholding HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in revenue cycle operations or related healthcare billing.
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to services.
• Process daily encounters and charges; ensure timely submission of claims.
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up on unpaid, denials, and underpaid claims.
• Research denials and prepare appeals with documentation.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of PHI and patient information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize revenue cycle processes.
