Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a billing and accounts receivable professional to ensure timely payment for services, manage AR, verify insurance coverage, and liaise with payers and clients. The role supports the Revenue Cycle Management team and ensures compliant, accurate billing across the organization.

The ideal candidate will handle system updates, audits, and data entry to correct errors, monitor rejections, and assist with evictions if necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management and payer communications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages accounts receivable, ensuring the timely collection of payments for services provided.
• Reviews and analyzes outstanding accounts, identifying delinquent or unpaid invoices, and takes appropriate actions to resolve balances.
• Utilizes electronic billing systems and software to track and update payment information, maintain accurate billing records, and generate reports.
• Collaborates with the billing team to ensure accurate claim submissions and resolves billing discrepancies or errors.
• Verifies insurance coverage for clients, confirming eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements.
