Midi Health is seeking a Billing specialist to handle patient billing and insurance inquiries via Zendesk, and to manage accounts receivable in a remote setting. You will educate patients on billing concepts, set up payment plans in Athena, and handle denial holds with Availity.

Join a fast-paced virtual care team focused on empowering patients through clear billing guidance and efficient financial processes. Strong CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge and excellent communication are essential.

Qualificações

• 2-3+ years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle operations.
• 2-3+ years of experience managing patient and insurance accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience using billing platforms such as Athena.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
• Experience working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Identify root causes of recurring denials and recommend process improvements.
