Responsibilities

• Post payments to collection accounts and reconcile with bank transactions
• Perform cash application functions to meet corporate and client requirements
• Access and understand various online systems for accurate payment applications
• Prepare and record financial transactions for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate financial history
• Research and distribute payments accurately, applying them to the correct claims

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or three (3) years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Strong knowledge of healthcare claims preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant system databases
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or related fields
• Familiarity with compliance and recovery laws in the healthcare industry
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
