Job summary

Citizens Behavioral Health seeks an experienced Billing & Records Manager to oversee revenue cycle operations, insurance billing, medical records management, and compliance tasks. The role supports both financial performance and high-quality client care across PHP and IOP programs for adults and youth.

The position emphasizes accurate reimbursement, secure records, and regulatory adherence while collaborating with clinical staff and leadership to ensure smooth operations and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in healthcare administration, business administration, accounting, medical billing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, records management, or revenue cycle operations.
• Experience with insurance claims, billing systems, and electronic health records.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance verification and eligibility processes for new and existing clients.
• Submit and monitor insurance claims for behavioral health services.
• Process payments, reconcile billing records, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Research and resolve claim denials, payment issues, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support revenue cycle performance.
• Prepare financial and billing reports for organizational leadership.
