Job summary

UF Health is seeking an experienced leader to oversee day-to-day payor follow-up operations for hospital and professional billing, aiming to improve AR performance, cash acceleration, and reduce aged denials.

This role partners with Revenue Integrity, Patient Access, HIM, Coding/CDI, Managed Care, Finance, IT, and Compliance to drive operational excellence and ensure compliant, efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years progressive revenue cycle experience, including 1–2 years in billing operations.
• Demonstrated experience with Epic and revenue cycle technologies.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in hospital and/or professional billing operations.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with 6+ years of direct hands-on revenue cycle and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day payor follow-up operations for hospital or professional billing.
• Drive AR performance, cash acceleration, and reduction of aged inventory and avoidable denials.
• Manage claim statuses, insurance follow-up, denials and underpayment workflows.
• Partner with Revenue Integrity, Patient Access, HIM, Coding/CDI, Managed Care, Finance, IT and Compliance.
