Job summary

University of Southern California (USC) Keck Hospital seeks a Manager of Revenue Cycle Integration & Performance to lead performance improvement, staff training, data analytics, and project management across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functions.

The role partners with leadership to drive denials prevention, payer performance, and workflow optimization, translating insights into actionable initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires High School or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years in healthcare operations with project management and/or major impact project.
• 5 years leadership, supervisory, or project management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle operations including registration, billing, denials, and payer processes.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable operational improvements.
• Experience with performance improvement methodologies and workflow optimization.
• Advanced organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data/reporting tools.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) if no card upon hire, to be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance and process improvement across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle workflows to identify inefficiencies and drive financial outcomes.
• Oversee training programs across Patient Access and Revenue Cycle functions to close performance gaps.
• Analyze operational and financial data; develop dashboards and KPIs; present leadership with recommendations.
• Manage cross-functional projects focused on denials reduction, workflow redesign, and system optimization.
• Serve as liaison between Patient Access, Revenue Cycle, Quality, IT, and operations.
• Support execution of strategic initiatives including denials prevention and payer performance.
• Communicate effectively with diverse groups and leadership to drive accountability and outcomes.
