Inova Center of Personalized Health is seeking a dedicated Revenue Cycle Net Revenue Manager Lead to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Job Description

The Revenue Cycle Net Revenue Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims by overseeing supervisors and staff, monitoring productivity, quality, and feedback. Responsibilities include ensuring claims meet processing criteria, follow-up on claims as per departmental and contractual requirements, and proper handling of payments and adjustments. The role supervises the operational and financial functions of the Patient Accounting department and collaborates with the Director of Patient Financial Services to resolve issues related to claims submission and payments, while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce work standards, quality measures, and process improvements aligning with organizational goals.
  • Review claims, identify and correct issues, and ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations, payer requirements, and system functionalities.
  • Evaluate system upgrades, support implementation, and assess new system effectiveness.
  • Manage billing, collections, posting, and auditing of a $1.5 billion receivable stream.
  • Ensure timely follow-up using appropriate systems and reports.
  • Provide training and feedback to staff, resolve pending claims, and oversee department performance, including hiring, training, and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Four years of experience in revenue cycle, clinic operations, credentialing, denials management, or related roles; two years in leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with additional years of relevant work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Epic hospital billing modules and third-party payer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and team management experience within healthcare settings.

This position is eligible for remote work in specified states including VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and WV.
