Job summary

Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) in Phoenix seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead all aspects of the patient revenue cycle, including coding, billing, collections, and denials management. This executive role partners with CFO and IT to optimize processes, implement SOPs, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliant, timely revenue capture across Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers.

Experience in an FQHC and EPIC proficiency are preferred; a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of full revenue cycle workflows including Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payer procedures.
• Proven ability to monitor and improve RCM performance with data-driven strategies.
• Strong leadership, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns full lifecycle of revenue cycle processes: charge capture, coding, billing, collections and cash posting.
• Monitors KPIs (AR days, denial rate, clean claim rate, net collection) and initiates corrective actions.
• Presents KPI dashboards and action plans to CFO and executive team.
• Ensures SOPs are developed, implemented, and followed for all RCM functions.
• Collaborates with IT and vendors to optimize RCM systems and data flows.
• Mentors RCM staff and supports budgeting, forecasting, and revenue projections.
