Job summary

Atlantic Medical Management (AMM) seeks an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead day-to-day operations and drive policy development and strategic initiatives. The role is based in Cary, NC with travel across Eastern North Carolina, focusing on high physician and patient satisfaction, data integrity, and compliant financial processes.

The candidate will oversee patient access, billing, denials, and collections, while aligning with GAAP and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of organizational management and healthcare settings.
• Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate policies through a management team.
• Ability to make decisions clearly and authoritatively.
• Ability to foster cooperative working relationships with management, boards and partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides management supervision for Revenue Cycle departments.
• Designs an operating model for patient access and financial services.
• Communicates performance expectations and drives collaboration to meet outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing services.
• Reports to CFO and supports strategic growth and GAAP alignment.
• Develops and administers revenue cycle policies and procedures.
• Leads contract negotiations with payors.
• Develops new care models using technology to meet consumer expectations.
• Oversees billing, denials, collections and revenue integrity.
• Assists in budgeting and goal setting; maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
