Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative to fill an opening with one of the largest Primary Care practices in Fort Myers, FL!

Daily Responsibilities for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:

  • Ensure timely reprocessing of Athena claims by updating accounts with new information from patients or physicians, adhering to the guidelines and timeframes set by the insurance carrier
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable in all HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient information from unauthorized access
  • Process and post payments to accounts on the same day they are received


Required Qualifications for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of Medical Billing experience is a MUST (reviewing claims rejections, appeals, resubmitting claims for approval)
  • Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance experience
  • CPT knowledge


Preferred Qualifications for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:

  • Athena EMR experience
  • XIFIN billing system
  • Associates in related field

Pay Details: $21.00 an hour – $24.00 an hour based on experience
