Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System Corporation seeks a Charge Review Specialist to perform charge reviews, audits, and reconciliations under general supervision, ensuring accurate charge capture for clinical services rendered. You will serve as a liaison between clinical leadership, CBO, Corporate Compliance, and Rates and Reimbursement.

Candidates should have an Associate Degree and at least 3 years in Patient Financial Services or Revenue Integrity, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Associate Degree is required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in Patient Financial Services, Charge Description Master and/or Revenue Integrity.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle systems including hospital charge systems and hospital charge processes that enables accurate and compliant billing.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills required.
• Epic experience strongly preferred.
