Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Revenue Cycle Liaison to bridge clinical departments, patient access, HIM/coding, and billing teams to ensure clean, compliant claims and optimal reimbursement. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• 3–5+ years in hospital revenue cycle, patient financial services, HIM, or managed care.
• Working knowledge of inpatient/outpatient billing.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with ability to influence clinical stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience with major EHR/revenue cycle platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between hospital departments and centralized revenue cycle functions.
• Monitor system-wide revenue cycle KPIs and report trends by facility/department.
• Coordinate corrective actions for high-volume denials with clinical and coding staff.
• Support charge capture integrity by resolving CDM issues and workflow breakdowns.
• Educate staff on documentation, insurance verification, prior authorization, and financial clearance.
• Facilitate recurring revenue cycle meetings to address systemic bottlenecks.
• Assist onboarding of new service lines, facilities, or acquisitions into standardized workflows.
