Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced Manager, Revenue Cycle – Cash Applications & Payment Integrity to lead cash application, deposit reconciliation, and refund operations across DME and Pharmacy segments.

The role focuses on accurate posting, problem resolution, and designing scalable, automated processes in a complex multi-system environment, collaborating with IT, Finance, and Treasury to improve controls and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle, with a focus on leading Cash Applications.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Deep understanding of EFT/deposit and 835 receipt, EDI routing/splitting, reconciliation, posting, credits, refunds, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cash Applications across DME and Pharmacy businesses with timely posting and reconciliation.
• Own end-to-end deposit reconciliation across bank deposits, EFTs, lockboxes, and remittance files.
• Establish controls for 835 ERA/EFT workflows and 835 routing/splitting across multiple systems.
• Identify and resolve missing, duplicate, or unreconciled payments and remittances.
• Design scalable, automated reconciliation processes and monitor for failures.
• Partner with IT, vendors, Treasury, and Finance to resolve payment issues.
• Lead and develop Cash Applications teams across multiple businesses.
