Job summary

Spectrum Billing Solutions is hiring a Revenue Cycle AR Collections Specialist to manage insurance collections, denial resolution, and appeal processing. This role supports reimbursement efficiency across healthcare clients and requires experience with various payors and regulatory guidelines.

The position allows remote or home/office hybrid work, with responsibilities spanning denial management, patient and payer follow-ups, and AR aging analysis to meet billing metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare billing and collections.
• Experience in all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management.
• Experience in Behavioral and/or Mental Health billing preferred.
• Knowledge of Commercial Insurance and Government Payor guidelines.
• Understanding of insurance benefits and reimbursement.
• Proficient in medical terminology, HIPAA and other critical governmental regulations.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Ability to comprehend various insurance documentation, analyze and reconcile accounts and follow detailed procedures in an organized and efficient manner.
• Superior communication, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, billing software)

Responsibilities

We are looking to add a passionate and skilled Revenue Cycle AR Collections Specialist to our growing team. The ideal candidate will use their skills and knowledge to ensureoptimal reimbursement by performing insurance collections.This role includes all aspects of revenue cycle collections including denial management, appeals, reimbursement rate negotiation, and accounts receivable collections.
