Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside seeks a FPA Systems and Reporting Analyst to perform reporting and data analysis for revenue cycle leadership. You will oversee development, monitoring and generation of reports across revenue cycle and coordinate with Central Billing Office, Finance, IT and other departments.

You will support users with moderate to complex reports, act as liaison in projects, and help explain data relevant to business needs, delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience, with demonstrated competency in data analysis and problem solving in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements to represent current and projected financial status.
• Provides maintenance of monthly operating reports and dashboards with performance metrics and KPIs.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of core systems (Epic, GE Centricity eIDX, GE Centricity IDX, BI Informatics) and bolt-on software (MPV, Claim Manager).
• Assists with summarization, recording and reporting of financial transactions related to financial reporting and A/R.
• Leads internal and external meetings to explain data relevant to business needs.
• Collaborates with management and departments to achieve high client satisfaction.
• Performs analysis to identify reimbursement trends and address revenue cycle questions.
• Participates in FPA/CBO projects and handles reporting/analysis initiatives as project lead.
• Assists senior staff with projects and presentations of routine financial information.
• Other duties as assigned
