Job summary

Obsidian is seeking an experienced leader in Revenue Cycle Analytics and Decision-Support to guide analytics initiatives for a cutting-edge AI healthcare program in San Diego. You will drive data-driven performance across patient access, coding, billing, denials, A/R, and collections, building scalable reporting and forecasting capabilities.

You will collaborate with finance, IT, and operations to ensure data quality, governance, and actionable insights align with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in revenue cycle analytics, reporting, or healthcare financial decision-support, with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of RCM KPIs across patient access, coding, billing, denials, A/R, and collections.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) and SQL-based analysis.
• Experience with EHR-integrated analytics platforms and RCM reporting systems.
• Strong financial modelling and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Attention to data quality and error detection in AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue cycle analytics, reporting, and decision-support to drive performance improvements.
• Evaluate AI-generated analytics, KPI dashboards, and financial models for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain RCM reporting frameworks for multiple domains.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and trend analyses for decision-makers.
• Conduct root cause analyses and propose data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and operations to align analytics with strategy.
• Govern RCM data definitions and reporting consistency.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and net revenue analysis.
• Annotate AI outputs and provide feedback for AI training datasets.
