Job summary

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to advance revenue cycle analytics and decision-support in healthcare. We seek an experienced leader to oversee analytics, reporting, and AI-driven insights across patient access, coding, billing, denials, A/R, and collections.

You will shape data governance, forecasting, and performance improvements while collaborating with finance, IT, and operational teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in revenue cycle analytics or healthcare financial decision-support.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of KPIs across patient access, coding, billing, denials, and collections.
• Experience with BI tools and SQL-based analysis.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue cycle analytics, reporting, and decision-support to drive data-driven performance improvements.
• Evaluate AI-generated analytics outputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain revenue cycle reporting frameworks for patient access, coding, billing, denials, A/R, and collections.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and trend analyses to support decision-making.
• Conduct root cause analyses of performance variances and propose data-driven improvements.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and revenue cycle teams to align analytics with strategic priorities.
• Manage RCM data governance including data definitions and quality standards.
• Support forecasting, budget modelling, and net revenue realisation analysis.
• Annotate AI outputs and provide feedback to AI training datasets.
