Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Maryland is seeking a Revenue Cycle Improvement Analyst to identify and manage process improvements that drive net revenue, lead analytics dashboards, and support reporting for finance and clinical operations.

You will partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and report to the Director of Revenue Cycle Analytics, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of healthcare finance or related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years healthcare finance, decision support, or related financial analysis background.
• 5 years Revenue Cycle operations experience preferred.
• 2 years experience managing projects or process improvements.
• 1 year experience with hospital/physician information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create monthly analytics workbook for clinical departments and service lines focused on gross revenue, denials, cash, and coding metrics.
• Present analytics workbook to clinical department and service line leadership on a recurring basis.
• Identify revenue improvement opportunities through data analysis and process review.
• Lead implementation of process improvements with clinical and revenue cycle teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Manage ad hoc reporting requests across the organization.
• Provide strategic support for AR strategy and KPI dashboards.
