Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Community Medical Center in Montana is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst who reconciles and posts payments, identifies discrepancies, and analyzes issues to ensure timely posting. Reports to the Patient Financial Services Director.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role requiring residency in Montana. The ideal candidate has at least five years in Finance or Billing, with a high school diploma or associate's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in Finance or Billing.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain charge description master (CDM) and other regulations to ensure data elements are accurate and comply with payor requirements.
• Analyze financial and utilization data to provide information on revenue cycle metrics and reimbursement.
• Interpret regulatory billing and coding updates to stay compliant and minimize misbilling.
• Resolve issues arising from information submitted and revenue cycle processes.
• Provide validation reviews, audits, and training across Finance, Medical Records and other revenue-producing areas.
• Collaborate with the lab to ensure late charges are posted to the correct accounts.
• Balance daily, upload/save bank files, clean unbalanced items, and manage claims worklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

A Revenue Cycle Analyst reconciles and posts all payments received, identifies discrepancies and analyzes issues to ensure payments are posted timely. Reports to: Patient Financial Services Director. FLSA: Non-exempt

How You'll Contribute

• Responsible for reviewing and maintaining charge description master (CDM), and/other pertinent regulations and policies, ensuring all data elements are accurate and comply with all payor requirements.
• Analyzes financial and utilization data to provide decision-making information relating to specific revenue cycle metrics and reimbursement.
• Reviews and interprets various regulatory billing and coding updates, to remain compliant and accurate to minimize misbilling.
• Resolves issues that arise from information submitted and revenue cycle issues.
• Provides validation reviews, audits, documentation and training for the area of knowledge, sharing information with Finance, Medical Records and other revenue producing areas or departments.
• Works closely with the lab to ensure all necessary late charges are applied to the accurate account.
• Daily balancing, uploading/saving bank files, cleanup of unbalanced items, and claims worklists
• Perform other duties as assigned
