Revenue Cycle Account Manager, Community & Specialty Oversight

Job Summary

Working under the general direction of the RCO Revenue Manager, the Revenue Cycle Account Manager serves as the primary contact between designated hospital sites and practices and the RCO for all aspects relating to hospital revenue cycle. Responsibilities include managing communication with sites, analyzing performance data, supporting system integration, and collaborating with various departments to optimize revenue cycle processes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with assigned sites to identify and address business needs.
  • Provide analysis and reports on performance data, including projections and budget comparisons.
  • Assist with statistical analysis and recommend solutions for performance variances.
  • Support integration of new providers and practices, ensuring accurate billing setup and compliance.
  • Develop standardized operational procedures, reports, and quality measures.
  • Monitor site activity using EPIC dashboards and reports, ensuring service standards are met.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Patient Financial Services, Coding, and Payer Relations to ensure revenue processing efficiency.
  • Participate in department and site meetings and contribute to committees as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare setting, preferably hospital revenue operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EPIC experience preferred.
